We find no abuse of discretion in the trial courts decision to proceed with appellants trial following his rejection of the states plea offer to lesser charges. We write only to address appellants point on appeal that the trial court erred in precluding his cross-examination of a state witness concerning exculpatory statements appellant made at the time of his arrest. These statements pertained to his lack of knowledge that cocaine was inside a package in his possession.
